Lemon rasam recipe | South Indian rasam recipe

Rasam is a typical south Indian recipe. It’s very simple & healthy. It is thin and watery in consistency. You can either have it as a soup or you can have it along with rice and can be prepared with in 15 min. Rasam along with hot rice and potato fry or papad is a prefect lunch combo. This helps in digestion process and for common cold.

There are so many varieties of rasam ,here I have used lemon instead of tamarind and have added some mashed toor dal for this rasam. Toor dal increase the flavor and taste of this recipe.

Note:
Always add lemon juice once you switch off the flame completely, If not you will feel the bitterness in rasam.
