Soya Chunk Keema Paratha


This is an interesting paratha recipe made with soya chunks & spices. Its’s a simple flat bread recipe and easy to make. Since it has all required spices, there is no need for an additional side dish for it. 


Paratha can be made in 2 ways. One is by mixing the soya chunks with the dough and the other is stuffing the soya chunk with the dough. In the below recipe, we will see how to make soya chunk stuffed paratha with detailed video and step by step pictorial presentation. 


This recipe can also be made with other flours too. Particularly it can be made with plain flour / Maida and besan flour. Instead of soya you can also add some veggies of your choice. Veggies add more flavor & Colour to your paratha.




Soya Chunk Keema Paratha 
Prep Time       :  20 min
Cooking time  : 30 min

Ingredients:

Soya Chunk                       - 1 cup  
Onion                                 - 1  
Chopped Garlic                  - 1/2 tbs  
Chopped Ginger                 - 1/2 tbs  
Coriander Cumin powder   - 1/2 tsp  
Turmeric powder                - 1/4 tsp  
Chilli powder                      - 1 tsp  
Coriander powder               - 1/2 tsp  
Half lemon juice Salt  

For Dough

Wheat flour - 1 cup  
Ghee            - 1 tsp  
Water (As required)  
Salt 

Instruction:-

  • Soak soya chunk in hot water for 1 hour 
  • Grind the soaked soya 
  • Add Onions, chopped garlic, chopped ginger and Coriander 
  • Squeeze half lemon 
  • Add salt as required 
  • Add Cumin powder ½ TSP, Turmeric powder ¼ TSP , Chilli poeder 1 TSP and Coriander powder ½ TSP 
  • Marinate for 15 Mins 
  • Add oil to pan 
  • Transfer the mixture to the pan and cook well 

Paratha Preparation:

  • Take 1 cup of wheat flour in a bowl 
  • Add some salt and ghee 1 TSP 
  • Mix it well 
  • Add water as required and mix well 
  • Let it rest for 15 Mins 
  • Roll it and add the Soya chunk stiffing 
  • Fold it completely with the stuffing 
  • Now again roll it after stuffing 
  • Add ghee to hot pan 
  • Place the paratha on the pan 
  • Cook both sides well
